Eera Nilam is a Tamil film directed by P. Bharathiraja.The protagonist played by Suhasini had lost her husband who dies for the country. She sends both her sons to the army, and they die in the Kargil war. The third son (Manoj) who looks after the farm is her only solace, but she decides to sent him also for serving the country. Manoj is in love with Nandita who is a schoolteacher. The film is all about soldiers who sacrificed their lives for our nation.
